How To VolunteerVolunteers participate in a variety of ways. Some come in regularly, others intermittently. Some volunteer during set volunteer times, and others set their own volunteer schedule. Some help out at the Northridge kitchen, others do pick-ups and jobs not in the kitchen. Some help out downtown, and some come to fundraisers, or hold canned food drives. Kitchen volunteers typically help prepare food. There are no strenuous jobs. Packaging, preparing, cutting,etc. Kitchen volunteers are welcome to come to the kitchen in Northridge during our regular volunteer times:
