It's easy to see that the food is secondary to the joy and love felt by
Frontline volunteers and street people. This particular day we served our 500,000th meal
downtown. |

These people here are the "seniors". They hang out, or rather
sit, in the outskirts of Skid Row around 6th and Towne streets. Whenever we serve, we
always make sure to set aside their food and then stop by their hang out last. |

An award given to Castellani by Mayor Riordan. While truly an honor to
receive such recognition, it has been difficult to secure any support from the city, city
officials, and city departments.
