A great activity for ALL schools!

Steps for the Candy Split

1. Collect Candy on Halloween (go to a carnival or trick or treating, etc.)

4. Bring the other pile to school on Monday November 1 so that it can be given to Frontline Foundation, a Van Nuys group that serves meals to hungry people living on the streets of Skid Row, in downtown Los Angeles. The candy will be given out along with their meals. 4. This is a great way to get fattening candy out of the house. Instead of rotting your teeth, being gluttonous, getting a sugar rush and then crash, why not donate half your candy to Frontline? The candy is packaged into baggies and given along with meals served.

Frontline was founded in December 1987 by Ray Castellani in an effort to bring love, through the vehicle of food, to the hungry of Skid Row, in downtown Los Angeles. Since it began, Frontline and it’s all volunteer corp. has served over 670,000 meals freely and unconditionally to people who have no other resource for food.

You may print this out to present to Principals, and we can make up a flyer for you with your schools name on it.
