Become a Frontline 80 MemberThe Frontline 80 began in 1989 when Frontline moved from a basement kitchen to it's own facility. Concerned about having a monthly rental on the kitchen, the Frontline 80 was formed. Each month, these very dedicated people are sent a pink envelope in which they return a $10 donation that directly pays the rent on the facility. Many members in the Frontline 80 have been with us since its' inception. Some pay more, some pay less. Some skip a month here and there and some pay many months at a time. It's a very easy going group, but so powerful that it's kept the kitchen doors open for almost 15 years. No matter what month, the season, financial woes of the city, donation lags - the kitchen has never been threatened, and thus, the food going downtown has gone on and on. Frontline 80 Members either receive a pink envelope monthly in which they return their tax deductible donation or they use our secure site. Two Ways To Activate Your Membership:

I will contribute each month through the secure site. On the first month I will receive a reminder to go to the secure site and then every month thereafter I will be sent an electronic form to fill out indicating how much I'd like to contribute. I wish to receive my pink envelope and the self addressed envelope in which to return my contribution. Once your membership is activated you have three choices in how you want to contribute monthly to the Frontline 80. 1. Each month we send you a pink envelope in the mail that has a self addressed stamped envelope. In it you return your donation to us. 2. On our SECURE SITE you give us your credit card info. We keep this information confidential and you never need to give it to us again. Each month we email you a form. You simply check off the amount you wish to donate, or if you'd like to skip a month, or if you'd like to discontinue your membership. Whatever you tell us to do, we'll do. If you wish to change credit cards or change information, you always have the option of going to the secure site to modify your information. Keep in mind that each month you also have the option of skipping that month or discontinuing your membership. Please know by giving us your address you are only giving it to us. These are photos of our kitchen facility in Van Nuys, CA. It was originally an empty facility which was built into a kitchen by the tireless efforts of hundreds of volunteers and donors.
